Questions

Getting Over Divorce: Your Questions, Answered

How long does it take to get over a divorce?

There's no set timeline, and time alone doesn't heal you. Most women feel real relief within months, not years, once they stop replaying the past and start working on their thoughts, emotions, and self-worth on purpose. In my coaching program the Collective, women do that work over six months.

How do I stop thinking about my ex?

Your brain keeps replaying the marriage because it's looking for an answer that makes the pain stop. Notice the thought, name it, and choose a new one on purpose. Episodes 4 and 11 walk you through it step by step.

When am I ready to date after divorce?

You're ready when you're dating from wholeness, not loneliness: you like your own life, you know what you want, and you're not looking for someone to fill a void. Episode 5 covers the signs you're ready.

Is the Get Over Divorce podcast only for women?

The show is made for women going through or recovering from divorce, but anyone healing from the end of a relationship will find tools they can use.

Where can I listen to the podcast?

Get Over Divorce is free on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and most podcast apps. You can also listen right here on this page.

What's the difference between the podcast and coaching with Julie?

The podcast gives you the tools. Coaching is where you actually use them, with live help from Julie and a group of women who get it. The Circle is live group coaching for $197 a month. The Collective is six months of deep coaching, including two private sessions.
